The LT series low-temperature source is designed for high saturated vapor pressure materials and is suitable for materials such as Cd, Mg, Zn, Te, Sr, Yb, Ca, CdTe, ZnTe, Bi, and Pb. The low-temperature source consists of two heating zones and an intermediate isolation zone, in which the temperature gradient between the bottom crucible and the inserted crucible nozzle can be adjusted by the heating wire power ratio of the upper and lower temperature zones. The intermediate isolation zone can effectively dissipate heat to avoid temperature crosstalk between the upper and lower temperature zones. The source furnace is equipped with two sets of K-type thermocouples to measure the temperature at the bottom and top of the crucible respectively. The top inserted crucible uses a PG-coated graphite crucible, which can maximize the uniformity of the beam spatial distribution and improve the stability of the beam.
