DT series dual temperature zone evaporation sources are usually suitable for materials such as Ga, In, and Al. Extra heating wires are added to the crucible mouth to independently control the temperature near the crucible mouth. Depending on the evaporation material, two different temperature gradient configurations can be selected. The "hot lip" mode can prevent the material from condensing at the crucible mouth and reduce elliptical defects; the "cold lip" mode can effectively prevent the evaporation material from migrating to the crucible mouth.
