The 4-axis closed-loop cryogenic sample holder provided by Fermion Instruments can achieve precise control of sample position and posture. It is mainly composed of four parts: cryogenic sample rod, temperature control system, XYZ-R1 translation stage, and motor control system. The entire sample holder and translation stage are made of non-magnetic materials and can be used under ultra-high vacuum. The sample stage can move over a large range in the X, Y, and Z directions, and can achieve rotational movement around the Z axis (R1). The motor control software can be linked with ScientaOmicron's analyzer to realize the automapping function.
