The 5-axis JT sample holder provided by Fermion Instruments can achieve precise control of the position and posture of the sample, and the minimum temperature of the sample stage can reach 1.8K. It is mainly composed of four parts: low-temperature sample rod, temperature control system, XYZ-R1 translation stage, and motor control system. The entire sample holder and translation stage are made of non-magnetic materials and can be used under ultra-high vacuum. The sample stage can move over a large range in the X, Y, and Z directions, and can achieve rotational movement around the Z axis (R1). A gear transmission mechanism is added to the head of the sample holder to realize the pitch angle rotation (R2) function of the sample stage. The motor control software can be linked with the ScientaOmicron analyzer to realize the automapping function.
