Synchrotron Radiation

Time: 2017.05.18Source: View: 2599

Synchronous radiation is electromagnetic radiation emitted by charged particles with a speed close to the speed of light (v≈c) moving along an arc track in a magnetic field. Since it was first observed on a synchrotron, it is also called "synchrotron radiation" or "synchrotron radiation". Synchrotron radiation is a pulsed light source with excellent properties such as continuous spectrum from far infrared to X-ray, high intensity, high collimation, high polarization, and precise control of characteristics. It can be used to carry out many cutting-edge scientific and technological research that cannot be achieved with other light sources.

The synchrotron radiation facilities that have been built in China include:
1. Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility, BSRF (http://www.ihep.cas.cn/dkxzz/bsrf/)
2. Hefei National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, NSRL (http://www.nsrl.ustc.edu.cn/)
3. Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, SSRF (http://ssrf.sinap.ac.cn/index.htm)

Fermion Instrument Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. maintains a close cooperative relationship with these synchrotron radiation laboratories. Currently, there are Fermi instruments (FEMRI) in these synchrotron radiation laboratories. INSTRUMENTS) provided experimental equipment; we will continue to work hard to provide more and better scientific research instruments for Chinese scientists.
