The main function of catalytic materials comes from the surface of the materials. Therefore, studying the reaction characteristics of the material surface with different media can help us understand the characteristics of catalytic materials from one aspect. However, traditional research methods cannot achieve in-situ or quasi-in-situ research methods. Samples will inevitably be contaminated by air/tools or even operators during transmission. In this case, the properties of the catalytic materials will be greatly disturbed.

FERMI INSTRUMENTS proposed the concept of in-situ for the first time in China. By connecting a high-pressure reaction device to traditional surface analysis equipment such as XPS/UPS, the sample can be transferred in an ultra-high vacuum environment. In response to the requirements of some users for hydrogen catalysis, we have all-quartz reaction vessels. All chemical reactions are carried out in quartz containers. Due to the chemical inertness of quartz, the purity of the reaction is maximized.
