Surface analysis

Time: 2017.05.18Source: View: 1655
The surface of the material plays a vital role in the overall material properties, especially the optical/electrical/magnetic properties of the material, which are mainly determined by the surface properties of the material. In particular, several important new disciplines since the 21st century, such as nanoscience, microelectronics, catalysis and energy materials, are ultimately studying the surface properties of materials. Therefore, the role of surface analysis in physical/chemical and material science and even biochemical analysis is becoming more and more obvious.

There are dozens of surface analysis methods, the commonly used ones are ion probe, Auger electron spectroscopy and photoelectron spectroscopy, followed by ion neutralization spectrum, ion scattering spectrum, low-energy electron diffraction, electron energy loss spectrum, ultraviolet electron spectroscopy and other technologies, as well as field ion microscope analysis. The basic principle of these surface analysis methods is that most of the electrons, ions, photons, etc. of a certain energy interact with the solid surface, and then analyze the electrons, ions, photons, etc. emitted by the solid surface to obtain various related information.

The R&D/production team of FERMI INSTRUMENTS has many years of experience in surface analysis. The core members come from international surface analysis laboratories and instrument companies, and can provide complete solutions for different users in the detection of light/electricity/magnetism on the surface of materials.
