1. In the current epidemic situation, it is urgent to promote efficient and safe air disinfection technology

Air pollution and germs are everywhere in our lives, such as pathogens such as bacteria and viruses, suspended particulate matter that can cause allergies, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Pathogens are spread through droplets, dust or aerosol systems in the air, and are one of the important ways for various respiratory infectious diseases to spread in public places. For example, the recent outbreak of the new coronavirus has been raging around the world, seriously endangering people's lives and safety, and causing immeasurable losses to social life and economic development. At the moment when epidemic prevention and control has become normalized, in order to ensure the resumption of work and production, it has become a top priority to promote efficient, active and safe air disinfection technology.

2. Fermion Instruments AGP air purification technology allows fresh air to return to nature

In the field of air disinfection and purification, the disadvantages of traditional filter interception methods are well known: long-term use of filters not only cannot directly kill germs but also cause secondary pollution, and need to be replaced in time, with high maintenance costs and cumbersome. Although the use of ozone, hydrogen peroxide or ultraviolet radiation sterilization methods can effectively eliminate germs in the air and on the surface of objects, because the disinfection factors are harmful to the human body, they are mostly used for closed disinfection in unmanned spaces and cannot be used in daily life. In contrast, in nature, ultraviolet rays, thunderstorms, storms and other factors can cause air ionization, and the tips of trees in forests, waterfalls and ocean splashing water droplets can also produce non-uniform ionization. The ions produced by this type of air ionization phenomenon are an important means of purifying the air in nature.

Fermion Instrument's Active Gas Purifiers (AGP) air purification technology uses nanotechnology to achieve stable and silent ionization under the corona discharge threshold, forming a plasma active inactivation zone, perfectly reproducing the air ionization purification process of nature. When the airflow passes through the active inactivation zone, suspended microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses carried by the airflow capture positive and negative ions to release energy, destroy cell membranes, and bacteria and viruses are thus inactivated. Suspended particles such as dust and haze in the air will also absorb electric charges, aggregate from small suspended particles to larger sizes, and fall on walls, floors or filters to achieve dust reduction. In addition, odorous gas molecules, aerosols and volatile organic compounds in the air will also react with active substances such as oxygen atoms and ions in the inactivation zone and be neutralized or decomposed.

Plasma inactivation zone effectively eliminates viruses and bacteria

3. The nanotechnology of AGP technology can produce a plasma inactivation zone of sufficient concentration to effectively kill bacteria

There are many ways to obtain plasma. At present, the mainstream air purification technology mostly uses the principle of high-voltage electrostatic discharge. The voltage is applied between the two electrodes to generate a high-intensity non-uniform electric field. When the gas near the electrode is partially broken down, corona discharge will occur, thereby obtaining plasma. The related products on the market involve various discharge electrode structures such as needle-shaped, sawtooth-shaped, filament-shaped, mesh-shaped or dielectric barrier layers. In fact, when the gas is ionized under the voltage of corona discharge, it has the opportunity to form ultraviolet rays, ozone and nitrogen oxides. These technologies generally have problems such as harmful byproducts, low ion concentration, and insufficient sterilization ability.

The discharge electrode composed of the unique nanotechnology of AGP technology can achieve stable and silent ionization under the corona discharge threshold, which can not only efficiently form a plasma inactivation zone of sufficient concentration to achieve rapid sterilization, but also solve the many problems of traditional plasma generation devices that produce harmful byproducts such as ultraviolet light, ozone and nitrogen oxides.

The results of the simulated field test of air disinfection showed that a single AGP module could achieve a one-hour sterilization rate of 92.6% for Staphylococcus aureus in a simulated cabin of 3 square meters, and the total power of the AGP generator and fan was less than 5W. In addition, the AGP module does not require consumables during use, is fire-resistant and waterproof, can be used for a long time under various working conditions, and is easy to maintain.

In a 200 square meter field test environment, two vertical air conditioners with a ventilation volume of 2,000 cubic meters per hour were operated in air conditioning supply mode. After turning on the AGP module integrated inside the air conditioner, it can be seen that the air index in the test room quickly improved. At the air purifier outlet far away from the inactivation zone, an ion concentration of >107/cm3 can still be detected.

4. AGP technology does not produce ozone, which is more environmentally friendly and safer

In order to prove that AGP technology does not produce ozone during operation, we also conducted a comparative test. Under normal sunny weather conditions, the outdoor ozone concentration was measured to be 0.054ppm (left), while the ozone concentration measured at the outlet of the air conditioner with integrated AGP was only 0.017ppm (middle), and in a closed environment with dim light, the ozone concentration was 0.054ppm (left). In the space, the ozone concentration at the outlet of the AGP purifier was measured to be 0 (right), which proves that no ozone components were generated during the AGP process.

The above data prove that AGP technology is a green, natural, safe and efficient sterilization and purification technology that can coexist with humans. The AGP air sterilization and purification system is easy to install, the electrode is small and easy to integrate, and it can perfectly match ventilation ducts of various structures. It can upgrade existing air conditioning and fresh air systems at a lower cost to meet the social production needs under the current normalization of epidemic prevention. The unique design of the AGP air sterilization and purification system makes the air resistance it produces far less than similar products. When using the same fan, it can provide more air volume, high efficiency and energy saving, and is very suitable for crowded places with large ventilation volume and high ventilation frequency, such as public transportation, hospitals, schools and shopping malls. If the AGP air sterilization and purification system is integrated into the air conditioning and fresh air equipment in such public places, it can effectively kill various respiratory infectious bacteria carried by droplets or aerosols in the air, prevent the long-distance spread of bacteria through air conditioning equipment, and inhibit the spread of pollution sources. In addition to eliminating bacteria in the air, the plasma inactivation zone formed by AGP technology can also inhibit the formation of mold in the air conditioning equipment pipes, and eliminate secondary pollution caused by air conditioning and ventilation systems. In addition, the AGP air purifier based on professional fan and air duct design is also suitable for use in home and office desk environments, meeting the needs of purifying indoor air, reducing dust and sterilizing.
